Vindigo Extends Personal Navigation Service to Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Seattle


NEW YORK CITY—September 26, 2000—Vindigo, the leading developer of personal navigation applications for handheld devices, today extended its free mobile service to five new major metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Seattle. Already available in Chicago, Boston, New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C., Vindigo brings consumers the timely, local content they need to make fast, informed decisions about where to eat, shop and play. Today, Vindigo is announcing a partnership with seattletimes.com, the online companion to Washington state's largest newspaper, The Seattle Times. Additionally, Vindigo has added the latest dining and nightlife information from Boston.com, a regional portal that includes The Boston Globe online, to its current Boston offering.

Vindigo continues to draw its lifestyle information from a number of trusted national sources, including zagat.com for dining listings and restaurant reviews, inshop.com for local shopping information, and clubplanet.com for details about city nightlife.
